This collection is about my top 100 movies and still a work in progress. I create ideas shaped in my mind in Adobe Illustrator.
Each poster contains a philosophy behind it that refers to a significant moment or the whole point of the movie.
I did my best to select my color pallet appropriate for the movie.
Warning: Spoiler Alert for all of these movies!
One of Tarantino's masterpieces, Kill Bill. You can see four horizontal lines that refer to four important people who had to be killed by the bride, They were directly involved in killing the groom, the bride and her unborn child; Unfortunately the bride survived and made me cut the head off of my beautiful black lines.
The blood stain refers to the bride, her katana and her big revenge.
This poster isn't that hard to catch! Twelve lines coherent to the twelve men who have to decide on the life or death of a defendant. All white instead of the one who was believed the defendant is not guilty. The location of this particular man is related to our black line.
The movie is gray style as my poster is, there was no need for another color.
And why is the positive man is black? I don't know, I just hate the stereotype concepts!
The black swan (her inner evil or whatever) wants to break his shell and bloom over the white swan. We all have two characters inside; The black swan and the white swan. It depends on ourselves to decide which one covers us. That's my point of view.
This is my favorite poster!
You can see the horizontal line that reminds us of the gravity strings which Nolan showed us in the black hole. These particular lines split the poster into two sections, Up and Down. Up for the upper dimension and Down for our dimension.
As you can see there are some gaps in the lines, I think Matthew is trying to say something to someone. Just try to translate the gaps with Morse code.
Milk! A symbol of innocence.
You can consider it as the Léon or Mathilda, This is totally up to you.
If you choose Léon, then the blood stain will be the symbol of his job! Or maybe Revenge!
But if you choose Mathilda, well then I don't know what the hell is that blood for, You decide!
Trust me! You have to make a burger with this movie and enjoy! Watch it, Read some reviews about it and watch it again.
There is the reality and there is what we want to be real,  Real and Illusion. There is subconscious and consciousness. Fred can not recognize the difference and that made him to experience the consequences.
At the end of the film, there is a particular moment that Fred wakes up from his nightmare and finds himself into another nightmare, the moment that he is in a hot pursuit. You may refer this poster to the scenes that Fred see's in this particular moment, or illusion or whatever.
Cliché!
You can see this poster's kind everywhere, I just love it and put it in my archive.
Squares, refer to Leonard's photos, which suffers from anterograde amnesia and uses notes and tattoos to hunt for the man he thinks killed his wife. Each square is Inside a big one, a glance of a big puzzle.
This poster tries to show us the final scene of the film.
Melancholia, an enormous planet that is about to collide with the Earth. There are three wooden sticks that are placed like a shelter, and three people who gathered beneath; One who didn't know what was going on, Another one knew and was scared, and the last one knew and had no sense.
Truman (Jim Carrey) an insurance salesman is oblivious of the fact that his entire life is a TV show and his family members are mere actors. As he starts noticing things and uncovers the truth, he decides to escape.
Inside the door was dark but I decided to turn it to light, a reference for freedom, or heaven maybe.
I asked my friends to take a look at this poster and tell me whatever comes to their minds, and most of them thought these are some voids into levels of a building.
But, this is exactly the opposite. they didn't see the final level, the most important level, the dark level which is beneath all of them. Just try to imagine the whole black area of the poster as a ceiling. And the final level is brighter than the others, because they had a lot of food, the social gap.
On the other hand, you can also consider the dark level as the highest level; In this case you can say it's dark because the people who leave there are dark inside.
I have nothing to say about this one, it is clear.
Same!
